Commissioners

Our Board of Commissioners have been appointed by the Anne Arundel County Executive.  The seven members includes one resident commissioner, living in our communities. The board convenes ten times per year with public meetings, administering our programs in a fiscally responsible manner. Public meeting info is regularly published on this website for all to attend.

The Housing Commission of Anne Arundel provides a variety of essential services that, in tandem with quality housing, create a productive and comfortable environment for our consumers.  Many of these services are representative of effective and creative partnerships with other agencies and businesses. 

 

These services include:

Head Start Programs at Heritage at Freetown  and Heritage at Severn.

 

Boys and Girls Clubs at Heritage at Freetown, Heritage Overlook and Heritage at Severn.

 

Career Connection Centers at Heritage at Severn and Heritage at Freetown.

 

CHOICE Services at the Thomas H. Pumphrey House.

 

Family Self-Sufficiency Program for public housing and the housing choice voucher programs and the new CHOICES education and career service funded by Anne Arundel County.
