02/08/2010 Snow ClosingThe Housing Commission will not be open on Monday, February 8th due to weather02/08/2010 SNOW REMOVALSNOW REMOVAL WILL CONTINUE ALL WEEK. STAFF HAS BEEN WORKING SINCE FRIDAY NIGHT TO REMOVE THE RECORD 31 INCHES OF SNOW IN GLEN BURNIE. THERE ARE LIMITED PLACES TO PUT THIS MUCH SNOW, SO PLEASE BE PATIENT AND UNDERSTAND THAT PARKING WILL BE LIMITED UNTIL MUCH OF THE SNOW MELTS. Our ProgramsThe Housing Commission of Anne Arundel County administers many Housing Programs to meet the varied needs of the residents of Anne Arundel County. Our programs include affordable housing options for low income, seniors, support services and special needs. On the pages that follow, you will find a general description of our programs including: Section 8 housing, Public Housing, Congregate Housing, Rental Allowance, Partnership Rental Housing and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) and Youth programs.
