 07/27/2010 FAMILY SELF-SUFFICIENCY EXPANSIONThe Housing Commission received additional funding to enhance the Family Self-Sufficiency Program in 2010. We are currently completing orientations for public housing and section 8 families who wish to better their futures and hope to increase their employment ability and/or move to home ownership. Our ProgramsThe Housing Commission of Anne Arundel County administers many Housing Programs to meet the varied needs of the residents of Anne Arundel County. Our programs include affordable housing options for low income, seniors, support services and special needs. On the pages that follow, you will find a general description of our programs including: Section 8 housing, Public Housing, Congregate Housing, Rental Allowance, Partnership Rental Housing and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) and Youth programs.
