08/11/2008 WAITING LIST PURGEThe semi-annual waiting list purge has been completed. Postcards were mailed to all applicants and their emergency contacts who have had no file activity prior to Jan 08. Each applicant who received a postcard was requested to tear off a portion and to drop it in return mail. All postage was paid. If the applicant failed to do so, they were removed from all waiting lists and are certainly welcome to re-apply.08/11/2008 NOTICE TO LANDLORDS-UPDATEOur Thanks to all Landlords who have provided bank information to allow us to process automatic direct deposits. This process has saved us many hours of manual labor, and has afforded you quicker access to payments. For the few that still have not responded, please do so as soon as possible.06/25/2008 NOTICE TO LANDLORDSOver the past several months we have made you aware that effective July 1, 2008 HCAAC would no longer issue checks for subsidy payments for your clients. If you have not provided the required bank information to us, you need to do so immediately to facilitate the release of your payments. Application ProcessThe first step in finding your new home is filling out the application. Available on line or via mail, you will find the application to be easy to follow and fill out. Please make sure that you fill the application out in its entirety and that all of the information is updated and accurate. This will help in moving the application along to its next destination.
