WAITING LIST PURGE

The semi-annual waiting list purge has been completed. Postcards were mailed to all applicants and their emergency contacts who have had no file activity prior to Jan 08. Each applicant who received a postcard was requested to tear off a portion and to drop it in return mail. All postage was paid. If the applicant failed to do so, they were removed from all waiting lists and are certainly welcome to re-apply.

NOTICE TO LANDLORDS-UPDATE

Our Thanks to all Landlords who have provided bank information to allow us to process automatic direct deposits. This process has saved us many hours of manual labor, and has afforded you quicker access to payments. For the few that still have not responded, please do so as soon as possible.

NOTICE TO LANDLORDS

Over the past several months we have made you aware that effective July 1, 2008 HCAAC would no longer issue checks for subsidy payments for your clients. If you have not provided the required bank information to us, you need to do so immediately to facilitate the release of your payments. Please contact our Finance Department at 410-222-6200 Ext. 115 with the requested information.

Application Process

The first step in finding your new home is filling out the application.  Available on line or via mail, you will find the application to be easy to follow and fill out.  Please make sure that you fill the application out in its entirety and that all of the information is updated and accurate.  This will help in moving the application along to its next destination.

It is a known fact that all good things come to those who wait.  If you find that you need to be on a waiting list, please know that we are doing our very best to get you into the most compatible apartment complex for you (and your family).  In order to best serve you, please make sure that you have filled out the initial application in its entirety then follow up with us to make sure that it was received.  Check in with us frequently to learn of your status.  Remember, we are here to help you and we want to make sure that the community that we match you with will meet your expectations.  Please be patient with us.  We are looking out for you!
