STAFF HAS BEEN WORKING SINCE FRIDAY NIGHT TO REMOVE THE RECORD 31 INCHES OF SNOW IN GLEN BURNIE. THERE ARE LIMITED PLACES TO PUT THIS MUCH SNOW, SO PLEASE BE PATIENT AND UNDERSTAND THAT PARKING WILL BE LIMITED UNTIL MUCH OF THE SNOW MELTS. Pumphrey House was originally built in 1863; it was purchased by the Housing Commission in 2000, and renovations were completed in June of 2002. This historic building and the adjoining addition contain 15 units, providing housing for frail elderly residents. A menu of assistance services are available to residents, from housekeeping to laundry services, enabling them to live independently at very reasonable cost. Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers are accepted at Pumphrey House. |
